9 AM Distance Builder

We're bringing back the Distance Builder Ride....! 

For many of you, this will be a new ride, as it's been a while since we've done this..

First, this is what we're going to do:

When: Saturday, March 4th, 2023
Where: 9:00am, meet SW corner of Preston/Forest
What: This week, we'll do a 25-28 mile ride. 

Ozzi Buckler will be leading this ride.....Look for Ozzi to be there about 8:45.....He will cover some ride etiquette and ground rules for the ride....

The likely route will be out to a coffee shop in the Las Colinas area, near the Toyota Music Factory quad area. 

What to expect: Expect a modest pace, but NOT fast.....I'm thinking a 13-14mph average at the end of the ride......There will be some hills, nothing terribly dramatic...after all, this is still Texas...Doesn't take much for us to call it a 'hill'......

There will be a coffee stop. The destination I have in mind has restrooms, snacks, and a great outdoor patio...This business has more than coffee. 

Plan is to be back before noon.

Second, this ride going forward will be different every week. We have no one designated leader, and anyone who is a bonafide Club Member is welcome to step up and lead one these rides.....If leading is new to you, ask for help, and we'll co-lead with you.

The purpose of this ride is to get riders who are ready to step out beyond the Sunday Roll or the Easy Going Ride, but not do the longer, faster distances as we've done in the Airport Ride.

The name 'Distance Builder' is something we're going to stick to.....sometimes longer, sometimes shorter, but the pace will be modest.....13-14mph at the end......

We're starting with my route, which I think will be about 25+ miles.....we'll be headed west, generally.
