To keep the tradition alive, the Greater Dallas Bicyclists has made plans to host everyone in Dallas on February 7th with a new location, but yet close to Dick’s Last Resort. We wanted a location that would be outdoors, safe for everyone, convenient and yet a place to grab lunch quickly.

This year we will be meeting for lunch at Klyde Warren Park (2012 Woodall Rodgers Freeway, Dallas) and dining from the Food Trucks. The trucks are located between N. St. Paul Street and N. Pearl Street on the south side of Woodall Rodgers. The address noted is on the north side of the park.

One important note, the park is asking that we do not lean our bikes against the trees or lay them on the grass. Instead, they are requesting that we place them in or up against the bike racks or against the tables. This area is completed with decomposed granite gravel. They suggested that we walk the bikes to the food trucks when we arrive instead of riding them through the park too.

Trucks that are scheduled on this date will be: Greek Lovers, Wuden Chopsticks, Yummy Pizza, Ruthie’s (grilled cheese sandwiches), Serious Salads and Hibernation Coffee. The food trucks start serving at 11am, although they normally appear at 10am to start setting up. Please note that the trucks are somewhat like cyclists and may not appear if it is raining.

Please bring a lock for your bike, wear your club or store jersey, if you have one, mask, cash/credit card and have fun! We look forward to seeing everyone on February 7th.

The GDB Group will be leaving from the traditional Sunday Roll start on the NW corner of Preston and Royal at 9:30am. We'll ride down to lunch, eat, then ride back to the start for a total of 30 miles. 

Please note the new rules if you'd like to participate:

1. Registration is required and are limited to members only, plus 1 guest.
2. The registration process will include the standard GDB ride waiver as well as a new Covid-19 waiver.
3. We would like to suggest riding in groups of 10. However, the ride will remain a no drop event with small gaps between each group.
4. Please DO NOT RIDE if you have tested positive for Covid-19 or if you feel sick!
