Summer Bash 2019 For Members (and their guests)
This year's GDB Summer Bash will take place in Lancaster at the Town Square.
We would like to welcome those who registered for the rained-out Lancaster Country Ride to join GDB club members for the ride and an optional lunch afterwards. There will be a limit of 100 non-club members.
A food truck called Easy Slider will be available for anyone who wants to stay and eat: $5.00 for all lunches, both members and non-member guests. We recommend bringing blankets and/or lawn chairs as there will not be seating available.
We MUST have an RSVP for lunch prior to the event.
Note: There will be no Sunday Roll at Preston/Royal that day!
There will be two routes:
23 miles, ‘Sunday Roll’ 10-12mph pace
38 (approx.) miles, 15-16mph average pace
The faster/longer ride will roll out at 8:30am this year.
The shorter/slower ride will roll out at 8:45am.
Important: The ride is not supported and there will be few opportunities for rest stops, so come prepared with food, water, and repair gear!
We will have large porta-potties at the start/finish to use as both restrooms and changing rooms.
