On Labor Day, September 1, Greater Dallas Bicyclists will be hosting a ride through Richardson, Plano, and Allen.
The ride will start at 8:00 am from Richardson Bike Mart at 1451 W Campbell Rd. We have two routes: 24 miles and 42 miles, each with one stop. Please consider your route carefully based on the heat index on the day of the ride.
The ride is no drop and we will stop as a group for mechanicals and any other issues. The average pace at the end of the ride will be 13 mph for the 24 mile route and 14-15 mph for the 42 mile, with speeds faster on flats and slower on hills. Please ensure your bike is in good working condition, bring plenty of liquids.
GDB Club membership is not required to ride, but we hope you'll enjoy the ride so much you'll become a member! We will have lunch and beer together at Mi Cocina after the ride.
