Bike the Bluebonnets Pre-ride #2

About this event

This is the second of several planned pre-rides for the Bike the Bluebonnets Ride on April 12th. This pre-ride will start at the Ferris Junior High School/Yellow Jacket Stadium at 9am on Saturday, 3/29/25. The stadium address is 1002 E. 8th Street, Ferris, TX.

There will be three routes to test out - 25, 37 and a 55 mile - so there will be three groups riding.

Routes:
25 miles:  https://ridewithgps.com/routes/41681960
37 miles:  https://ridewithgps.com/routes/41681955
55 miles:  https://ridewithgps.com/routes/41681944

Please note that this is a pre-ride on new routes so you need to watch your GPS closely. Be sure to make notes along the way (ride with a pen or use your phone) so you don't have to try to remember the issues after the ride.  These are brand new routes so the GPS and cue sheets have not been followed before like previous years.

There will not be accessible restrooms at the start of the pre-ride. The closest would be the Jack in the Box restaurant at 75 and 660.

Be sure to bring money, cell phone, repair supplies, nutrition, and water.

One more important note: All members who want to ride the course should do so during the pre-rides and not on rally day. We need all hands on deck to help volunteer on rally day.  Some volunteers may need to do two assignments so we have adequate coverage.  We pre-ride in order to check out the course but it also allows riders to experience the route(s).  It takes a crew to pull off this event!
