About this event
This monthly ride will take us to a restaurant or brewery in Forth Worth for lunch. The route, which is shown below, consists of riding about 43 miles to the lunch stop, taking the TRE back to Dallas from the Fort Worth Central Station, and then a short ride of about 10 miles back to the start.
The ride will start at 7:30 AM sharp from the SW corner of Preston and Forest and is no drop. Expect to be back to the start location around 2:30 - 3:00 PM.
We will stop as a group for any mechanicals or other issues. The average pace at the end of the ride will be 14-16 MPH with speeds faster on flats and slower on hills.
Please ensure your bike is in good working condition, bring liquids, a mask as needed, and dress for the weather. The ride on the TRE will cost $2.50 for a single train ride back to Dallas. The GoPass app can be used to purchase the ticket.
